I bought this for my significant other for her birthday last year and I have to say that the netbook Acer Aspire One was one of the best gift shop I've done. It is also one of the most used. I love my weekends and seeing her with little pink netbook that can (and does) while sipping your morning coffee.
From a hardware perspective, the Aspire One is more than capable for most normal uses. The 1.6Ghz Atom CPU will not win any speed contests at this point, but is fast enough for most uses. If you just want netbook to browse the network, edit the document and check an occasional email, you're more than fast enough. You have some stuttering when it comes video, largely due to a graphics processing unit low-power (in this case an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator, which does a great job of acceleration) but with a screen on this side, watching videos is not going to be one of the best uses anyway.
This model comes with a hard disk and not one of the new solid state disks. While this sacrifices speed and durability, extra storage space (160 GB) is worth the trade-off in my opinion. That's more than enough space for a team that will be used primarily as an Internet terminal. It will not be necessary for the storage of all for movies and games (although in reality it does play some older games fairly well.)
The build quality is also very good and all the features you would expect here. The built-in WiFi has worked without problems, there are two slots for card reader available to you, and there are three USB ports, more than enough room to expand. The screen is first class despite its size and video quality is vibrant and colorful. The keyboard is good, though the touch screen may be due finnicky the right edge of the same functions as a scrollwheel would. I can use a wireless mouse every time I use it for any length of time, but gets along well with the touchpad almost exclusively. Probably only have fat fingers …
Basically, the Acer Aspire One AOA150 netbook is a functional and lasting has been serving double duty for my partner and I for over a year. You have not lost the rhythm and I recommend it. The pink model makes especially good gift for a special someones …

this small is large. I have it in white with a 6-cell battery for about $ 280. I have it for about 8 months and I literally use it every day. RAM upgrade is a lot of cutting, I am a technician and I would not recommend anyone to update their own ram. ALSO there is only one RAM slot … so if you had an extra concert half chip of RAM DDR2 portable Hence, you will not be able to put this baby to bring up its "maximum of 1.5 concert
Hard disk drive is connected, but virtually embedded on the motherboard .. and how to reach the RAM slot, you have to have almost everything in the box and then rotate the base plate after disconnect all cables small.
All this may sound like im bashing it, but im not in all honesty, I'm just shows what you can expect if you plan update the unit. for example … installing a chip or SSHD .. largest ram.
(Personally I would have preferred a maximum 2gig not 1.5)

this small laptop has an LED display BEAUTIFUL! Very clear and colorful. FAST also Intel Atom processor runs .. large and only if your question .. you can do some 3d games! my friend used to play World of Warcraft .. and online Fiesta! (Grafx are reduced of course .. but both games are playable)
Hard disk space 160 gigs is monstrous! loaded with 100 DVD-quality movies of the perfect thing keep you busy for a while.
The keyboard is much better in the size of some of the other netbooks I've seen .. and it saddens me to say because I'm a fanboy … ASUS keyboard is better than the ASUS .. easier to write about.

I bought this netbook in February and is still faster and more efficient as it was when I took it out of the box. "I can take me to the library every time I go so you can access the wireless network in my own machine, plus I've taken on holiday because it is very portable. In addition, I do all my work in graduate school in this little machine. Still boots quickly and is able to run multiple applications simultaneously. My favorite things on this team are its portability, decent battery life and the beautiful pink color.

I love this team and the price! Never had Acer plans to buy one, but has not disappointed me yet. I have read reviews online and in comparison with Sony's mini netbook (which only rated three stars and $ 900). When we got him, my husband was up and running in less than ten minutes. It's that easy! Less than $ 300 and works just as well as laptop Sony my husband's normal size. The speed and everything is the same, except the size, of course. I prefer to use the mouse that comes with it. I find it easier and keys my hands fit perfectly.
