Should I re-enlist? (U.S. Army)?

I used to be in the national guard and got discharged for pregnancy. After I had my baby who tried to enlist as active duty, but being a single mother could not. Reserve A recruiter contacted me and told me I could go to the reserves. All I do not like is the AT (2 weeks of training each year.) I'm not sure he would be ready to leave my son for so long. I have to make a quick decision. My MOS is 42R (band member). Basically no deployment, we have not been on the list to go abroad now. I really need a job and I am a military brat, but I would be heartbroken to leave my son for two weeks each year, what should I do? Please only serious answers. Please do not bash the military or my making. A force of death … lol I'm in the band. Being in the military is a great honor. Thanks though.

If two weeks is a problem, I would not go booking. I refer to two weeks every year or even a sacrifice when you compare yourself with those who say goodbye to their children for one year. In addition, the unit may be deployed, but the soldier is not. You may be transferred to a quick implementation of a real drive in the reserve, trust me.
